"SCM Insider’s Guide to Scottsdale"

A travel guide created especially for the gearheads trekking from parts unknown to Scottsdale in January for of one of the biggest classic car events there is – Auction Week in Arizona.

Fun in the Arizona Sun

We’ve been heading to sunny Scottsdale every January for years, joining the tens of thousands of collector car snowbirds who are fleeing their ice-encrusted winter climes. Here are some of our favorite places to stay, play, eat, and be pampered, broken down for three different styles of collectors. Whether you’re looking for a million-dollar Enzo Ferrari, planning to bid a hundred-thou on a Fuelie Corvette Sting Ray, or if your budget tops out at ten grand for a late model Mustang, we’ve compiled plenty of ways to entertain and sustain you.

And, just to give you some Scottsdale background, we’ve included profiles on two local boys: famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. and Keith Jackson, the man behind the Barrett-Jackson auction.
